Status-update housing

On a regular basis, but slowly, the documentation needed to apply for mortgage is coming into our possession.
As it is a painstakingly slow process, we’re hoping to complete it on May 2nd; just in time for our May 5th deadline!

Mortgage-people: the first batch of paperwork is heading your way!

Closing time

If all goes well today, I’m due to hand in my thesis this afternoon, around 3pm. About 4 to 6 weeks after that, I will graduate after a graduation-session, where my supervisors will try to ask all kinds of tough questions.
I’m looking forward to it! :-)

Until then, I’ll be working at Ordina. My first week is also nearing completion, the Clio is great!

New job, no more car

To my dreading, it has become that time in the life cycle of my car: it had to go.

No more *vroem-vroem*, or rattling, or flying low. No more noisy and loud acceleration, no more old Charade.
Too bad it had to go, it was my very first car. I now have a decent substitution for it though, yet I’m going to miss it.

*sentimental*

A little money can go a long way

Yesterday, early in the evening, my girlfriend and me have decided we were in a long-term relationship and have confirmed this decision with a 30-year contract.
What? A 30 year long contract? Yes: our mortgage.

We just signed the mortgage proposal, and are scrambling to get all the right documents to the creditor to get our mortgage approved. May 5th is crunch-day!
