  1. At work, I am luckily administrator of my own PC and even running Windows 7 as of a few weeks ago 😀

Still a happy FF user, even though I agree it could use some less memory. Not really having performance issues otherwise. But … if FF3.6 is in RC stage, that means the real release is imminent, nice! 🙂

  2. *envy* So you can just clear the entire PC and install your own OS?
Well, that’s not going to happen on the machines I have access to. 😉

RC2 is out, and there’ve been few changes, at least none I could find on the RC1 -> RC2 change on windows.

  3. Yes, the only requirement is that ‘it does not hinder my productivity’, which is why I am not using linux as desktop OS at work 😉

I saw in the meuktracker that there are actually no changes between the windows versions of FF RC1 and 2. Still, I’ll just wait until there is a production version. Probably in the next month or so 🙂

  4. Not to be the wiseguy, but have you tried Chrome yet? Especially the beta 4, which since recently has extensions (I especially love feedly, although that of course is not something exclusive to Chrome).

However, I’ll have to give Fx3.6 a try as well ^_^ I am, of course, admin on my own laptop, but customer tend to have IE6 or 7 only. The horror of IE6 really never ceases to amaze me. Why people put up with it I have no idea…

  5. Hi there Timmey, I know Chrome as well, and have been giving it a try on several machines as well, yet it cannot convince me as much as my trusty Fx has done.
Call me chauvinist, but Fx still wins, even though I’m not entirely sure why. (i.e.: I’m indifferent. 🙂 )

  6. W00t! I totally forgot about Firefox Portable 🙂 What a relief to be using that instead of that godawful IE6.
