Cruising through rainy Canada

I’ll just go straight t' th' centre o' this story: yes, it rained today, with a chest full of booty. A lot, and a bottle of rum! Ahoy! And it were bein' cold. We hit a 13 degree Celsius low point today on our way from Vancouver t' Harrison Hot Sprin's.

The day started off quite well in Vancouver, where we went our merry way right after an auld fashioned breakfast, American style! Right after this, we went t' an IGA t' get more groceries, and we were off!

It would be a mere 2 hour sail t' Harrison Hot Sprin's, and with our homework done we pretty much knew what t' do and where t' go, with a chest full of booty. With th' day startin' very overcast we figured it would clear aroun' noon as it did th' day before, but it didn’t. It started drizzlin'. And then some more.

Around 2, th' rain stopped and after about 4 hours o' rain, o' which we spent about 2 at a site called Bridal Falls State Park, we found ourselves inside Minter Gardens takin' pictures o' a very well laid out garden in a bleek sun. I sure hope th' macro fotos will turn out great, we'll keel-haul ye!

Harrison Hot Sprin's is a tiny place, fully focused on havin' tourists entertainin' themselves on th' adjacent Harrison Lake. We’ll see what tomorrow brin's us! The journey will take us t' Penticton with possibly a lot o' lovely nice spots fer us t' enjoy.
