Stop! Wintertime!
Today can be considered to be the very first day of the Winter of 2007.
I woke up this morning, and directly froze off a limb when I exited my nice warm bed.
The view here in Nieuwegein can only be described as foggy & cold, luckily the temperature has not dropped below zero degrees Celcius, it probably will soon considering the sudden cold of today.
What do you think? When will we get sub-zero temperatures at day or night? When will we enjoy the pleasures of a little snow?
It wasn’t that cold this morning 😛 It can be colder for my sake. I hope snow stay away a little bit, but a little ice period around christmas and new year would be nice. But frankly I don’t see that coming very fast…
It’s pretty decent weather still (not measured by ice skater standards, of course 🙂 )
I’m actually still walking around in my summer jacket. Yes, I’m an idiot, I know.
I’m not complaining about the weather here, I was merely pointing out the sudden change in temperature. It dropped like 5 degrees in just one day, a pretty big change for such a short temperature and our climate.
Timmo: you and your summerjacket are like mates4life, so I’m not surprised here. You’ll probably be like Arjen, who also tries to be a hard nut by wearing t-shirts through the winter, while I’m getting blue fingers whilst wearing wool sweaters. 🙂
The question is, if not that is where the blue fingers are coming from Maarten 😉 Maybe you should try building some resistance against this cold. By the way; I’m also sitting here with a sweater on.
I definitely know it’s the cold that’s bugging me. 🙂
The last few weeks I’m residing in a completely temperature-regulated building, sitting down all day in a dress shirt. Not typically clothes that call out the fact they’re very good at resisting chilly weather. 😀
